Product use:
1. Apply pre-wash to the vehicle
2. Rinse thoroughly
3. Pour 20-100ml Tech Cleaner2 into a bucket and then fill with 10 litres of water (Read further below for correct mixing)
4. Hand wash the car with Teddy microfiber gloves
5. Rinse thoroughly with water
6. Wipe the car with a microfiber Looper towel
CleanTech Tech Cleaner – Acid-based car shampoo
Tech Cleaner is a concentrated, mild acid-based car shampoo that effectively removes dirt from the car’s surface without leaving stains. Due to its acidic pH value, the product is ideal for cars with ceramic or quartz-based coatings. It allows for quick and efficient washing of the vehicle, while the shampoo dissolves minerals and restores the coating’s natural hydrophobic properties. At low concentrations, the product is also safe for waxes and sealants, and is highly effective and long-lasting.

How to use an acid-based car shampoo:
For general maintenance, the product can be used like any other car shampoo. It has excellent cleaning properties and reduces surface tension. The shampoo is easy to rinse off and has good glide, which protects your sponge and paintwork. For general maintenance, the shampoo should be diluted with 20-40 ml per 10 liters of water. At this dilution, the shampoo is safe for sealers and waxes. To dissolve clogged coatings, use 50-100 ml of shampoo per 10 liters of water.

For heavily clogged coatings, the most effective solution can be achieved with a dilution of 1:4. Apply the solution to the paintwork and work in thoroughly with your sponge. Leave the shampoo to work for at least 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. A quick rinse will not be sufficient. Please note that the shampoo does not add hydrophobic properties, but only restores them if they are already present.
Why use an acid-based shampoo for maintenance?
The reason is simple: Tap water often contains limescale, unless it is filtered. Even if the car is dried after washing, limescale residue can still remain on the surface. This may be difficult to see with the naked eye, but it is there – especially visible on cars with ceramic coating. Over time, the hydrophobic properties of the coating decrease, especially on the lower parts of the car, due to limescale and dirt. A pH-neutral shampoo can remove the dirt, but does not restore the properties of the coating. Therefore, car care manufacturers have found a solution in acid-based shampoos, which act as a descaler and can restore the hydrophobic properties of the coating.
